The President's Daughter: A Thriller by Bill Clinton, James Patterson

4.0

Could already tell that Id enjoy this book from the get go. A fast-paced thriller that feels like a roller coaster ride until the very end. I love how detailed this novel is. Most chapters are quite short probably because we get to see things from different povs (which makes it more interesting).

Another point that I love is how they didn’t portray Mel (the daughter) as a weak girl who’d just accept her situation. She’s smart and strong-willed, and I think it’s important for us to have that kind of character.

Overall it’s a good novel. A thick, but an enjoyable read. It’s a perfect mix of political (thriller) and procedural dramas. Finishing this novel leaves me wanting for more especially after reading Matt’s letter to Pamela, but I wont get my hopes up by waiting for a sequel.
