Greybrow Serpent by Shari L. Tapscott

4.0

This was an exciting fantasy with a well-built world, lots of heat and romance, a fast pace and high stakes, and - did I mention the heated romance?

As a sequel to [b:Moss Forest Orchid|34373490|Moss Forest Orchid (Silver and Orchids, #1)|Shari L. Tapscott|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1487766909l/34373490._SY75_.jpg|55457725], this book didn’t disappoint.

Recommended to fans of very heated, somewhat-suggestive-but-still-clean fantasy romances.

Content:
Romance:
A lot of the book's conflict revolves around Lucia's two lovers, both competing for her attention, who both hate each other. Innuendo. Men and women admiring each others' bodies. Many kisses, near kisses and thinking about kisses. Lots of heat. There are scenes with revealing clothing, and shirtless men. And quite a few heated kisses while in that state.
SpoilerA couple of scenes with Avery and Lucia very close together, with heated kisses, and fingers each others' waists and backs. Avery and Lucia are married in a foreign language, and royally escorted to their bedroom. Where they lie in bed together. Lucia is asked in pantomime if Avery is an eunuch.

Violence:
There are deaths, many deadly monsters, and lots of danger and near-death scenes.
