A classic dark academia set up. A group of fourth year students at an elite arts university, with Shakespeare being the name of the game, when there is shift in casting, those who play more secondary roles are moved into the spot light, feelings and egos are bruised. Then one of the seven fourth years is found in the lake after weeks of being cruel towards the rest of the group but when they all have a motive, it’s hard to say who’s responsible or just an accident!! This plot kept me intrigued, I enjoyed that the story was split like a script into acts and scenes, it was actually really effective how each of the different acts were introduced by the main narrator in the later timeline then goes into the past timeline. The story dives into the complexities of human relationships emotions and motivations plus explores how far one would go for someone they love.
