Three Hours in Paris by Cara Black
5.0
Historical fiction tends to be hit and miss for me. I find most books in the genre focus so much on the historical side that I feel like I'm reading a textbook rather than a novel.
Three Hours in Paris did not feel that way at all. From the start, the story was intense, fast paced, and had me actually biting my nails. I loved the shift from the sniper to the German policeman hunting her down, it made for some excellent tension. I was honestly worried for Kate's life.
I also found it so cool how Cara Black took a little tidbit of history and created such an amazing story to explain one possibility of what could have happened. 10 out of 10.
