Voices That Count by Megan Brown

4.0

"Voices That Count" is a graphic novel short story collection featuring female authors writing about being women in a hyper-masculine world. The stories are powerful and relatable. The authors are from Spain, so their perspective was a bit different from some similar anthologies I've read. I'm not sure if it was because of translation or if it's a general stylistic choice, but the writing had this interesting staccato style. I recommend this book for graphic novel lovers looking for great memoirs and female voices.
