The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz

5.0

House of Silk is the first story authorised by the Conan Doyle estate. Horowitz does an excellent job adding to the already rich list of Sherlock Holmes/Dr. Watson tales. The language and story structure matches the original Holmes tales, though this is longer than most of them. And I did find it a slightly easier read than the original. That may be thanks to the author's story construction.

This was a riveting mystery with a dark ending. I recommend it to all Holmes fans.
