Love in a Pickle by L.B. Dunbar

5.0

4.5 stars After many years reading stories in the Pennyverse, the name Scotia Simmons is not new to me. But getting an insight into her and her life certainly was. And to be honest, I wasn't expecting to fall as deeply in awe of her as I did. With the help of Chet and...others, you get to see the start of a softer side of one of the harshest characters in Green Valley. I could not put this down and I'm amazed at the care the author took around the many sensitive subjects contained within. I'm a little sad the Winters Sisters tales are done, but I'll never stop recommending this series or any other of this authors fully grown love stories. This was a beauty and a delight to read. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
