Didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. Glad I read this after book 2, A Wife for Sale, bc that was better than this one and the chemistry was also more believable in that one - even though that one was Instalove and this one is 2nd chance 🫠 because other than their sexual chemistry I wasn’t really seeing the romance aspect for them……
I know Vinny wasn’t like a main character but like why he do that? Guess we just needed a new villain after Brandi got the boot.
Additionally, this story kind of does a poor job at introducing us to this neighborhood and new group of people. Like it’s supposed to be an introduction-ish to the LeFluer family and it’s people, but instead it reads more like a story that should’ve been in the middle of the series since the characters are more established with each other. I got more of a family tree with A Wife for Sale (book 2 in this series) than I did with this one.
