This was the perfect cozy book for me. I felt immersed in the Southern setting and loved the characters and pacing. I also enjoyed the light elements of magical realism incorporated into the plot. The least believable element for me was the existence of Southern gentlemen. I also am confused why a side character was described as having "exotic" eyes several times despite this being written in the 21st century. But overall, love the theme of homecoming and small town vibes.
