Leah on the Offbeat, by Becky Albertalli

Synopsis;
The sequel to 'Simon VS. The Homo Sapiens Agenda', follows Leah, Simon's best friend. We see Leah navigate her way through her senior year of high school, and all the struggles (and love?) along the way. But her biggest struggle of all? Trying to figure out how to come out to her friends as bisexual.

My Opinion;
This was a giant waste of time. I should have listened to all the reviews that told me not to read it. But of course, I didn't. This just really didn't have a point. It added nothing to the already established story. Honestly, it was boring.

My biggest issue was how Leah treated everyone around her. Everyone from her mother to her best friends was treated like absolute shit. Leah was snarky, self centred, and just plain bitchy. I could not get myself to like her at all. Everyone tried so hard to please her. I get the hard to like character thing, but Leah was just awful. There was really nothing to like about this entire novel.
