This is part of the Dreamspun Desires collection and this does fit the brief very well and I did have to read with this in mind.
Despite Artie showing as very naive and young, despite his protestations, I did enjoy the first part of this.
I was glad

he told everyone about the first threats and whilst running the second time, he did tell the ranch people quickly too

It was after the ranch that I felt he really became too childlike almost for me.
The danger did ramp up again towards the end.
