The Hatching was creepy and fun, and I can't wait to see where the series is going. It reads more like a thriller with horror aspects, but I still really enjoyed it. The characterization isn't very deep, but I imagine that will expand across the next two books. I liked the World War Z-esque vibe of POVs around the world during a disaster. I ordered Skitter today, so hopefully I'll be reading it soon!
