Witches Aren't Wicked by Hannah Baldwin

Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.
This sounded like a great book, a coven of young witches wanting to take on the monarchy, what's not to love? But then I got confused by what time it was meant to be set in, it has an atmosphere like it may be set around the time of the witch trials but then mentions more modern things so I think it needed to verify when it's meant to be set. It was rather confusing and I couldn't suspend belief enough not to question it further.
