God this was such a fun ride!!!! It was an interesting look into the lives of rich straight white people and british "people"
Made me think a lot about my own life and how i may experience my 20s and 30s with cishet rituals and performances as someone who is so painfully queer. I loved harper the lesbian american and was surprised how she was actually a fleshed out character and not just a gag stock caricature of a predatory/token lesbian, having her be a white academic w rich parents she doesnt talk to was also a nice touch!
The main romance was also refreshingly healthy (for a straight couple) and full of love and fun and hard realities that was still romanticized enough to be an entertaining read. Despite being straight that is
All in all, i love scamming rich people, rich people have no morals, and i love love!
