I love historical fiction and this book didn't disappoint. Another reviewer complained about the history lesson but that's something I loved about the book. And the author's family consists of Cuban exiles so I especially appreciated her perspective given her family's experience. Some of the pieces fell into place a bit too conveniently but that's fiction sometimes...
