This was recommended to me and given to me by a friend as a book I needed to read; I knew it was something to do with Peter Pan and at first (particularly given my love for Disney) I was a bit sceptical.

When I say this book took everything I knew, threw it up in the air, and let it all come crashing down - that’s not an exaggeration. I thought this was a children’s book - it wasn’t. It gritty, horrifying and at times I genuinely think I held my breath.

My ‘knowledge’ of this book did not ruin it for me one bit. Christina Henry has such a wonderful way of turning a known story into something so real, and so dark! Absolutely blown away.
