I’m reading this series for the connection to ACOTAR coming out next week. But wow this book was really hard to get through. I wasn’t into the plot until the halfway point and so many of the plot devices were just so cheesy.
Another big issue I had was the way that the characters speak. There is such an overuse of expletives that it just made them sound corny and lame. I feel like you could have probably cut out 100 pages by tightening up the dialogue. 

That being said I am weak willed and miss my bat boys enough to continue with the next one.
