Goldie Vance, Vol. 1 by Hope Larson

I would like to begin by saying, that even though this was published in 2016, the language is of the time period, which caused me to go "eh" a couple of times while reading this graphic novel. The worst case of it is at the very first page, but then it is not that bad. There are some "traditional American values", like russians are bad and stuff like that, that also got in a way of really enjoying this work.
Now to the good stuff, it was nice to see that the main character is down to earth (in terms of class) and is valued for that. The stuff with Diane is cute, I guess, but as you can see, I was not amazed. The idea was pretty nice and I enjoyed my time, but I did not enjoy all the times stuff got bad and it really outweighted the good stuff for me. :c
