This is not really an in-depth look at bulletproof vests, but a deeply personal and triggering discussion of suicidal urges and reporting in a war zone. There is one chapter which kind of discusses the history of Kevlar, but the rest is about the author.

Not what I thought I was getting into with a book from this series, not something I would've read of my own accord.
