Inkheart Movie Novelization, by Sarah Hines Stephens, Jane B. Mason, Cornelia Funke

It's years since I read this, and I can't think why. My copy is battered, as much from being read repeatedly as from being 10+ years old (I can't remember exactly when I was given it, but I was eight or nine), and though I still remembered most of the plot points, there were a lot of details I'd forgotten. It was still as enchanting as it was a decade ago and, like my primary school self who dressed as Meggie for World Book Day, I still finished it feeling like maybe if I tried hard enough when reading aloud, something might emerge from a book.

Definitely going to reread the other two now. I think I've only read each of them once or twice, so there's a lot that I don't remember.
