GOD. it got me out of my reading slump and kinda-sorta-maybe made me want to cry. the characters jump off the page—noah's self portraits were stunning, jude's superstitions made me feel for her. everything just felt so beautifully illustrated and symbolic!! it was so so weird going from the past to the present, but i loved it—the emotional highs and lows it produced were so so good. incredible book :)
