This book overall is a very helpful way of looking at one's life with curiosity and optimism, especially if you complete all the book's exercises.
The "Good Time Journal" was a very useful exercise to reflect back on what really energized and engaged me during the day. I found that I was apt to try and fit myself into the mold of what I aspired or hoped I would want, rather than what I really loved to do.
Some exercises like the Life View and Work View require some more time to settle out. I still don't feel that my perspectives are strongly held at this point but am okay with that.
A few portions of the book around building a council of people to help you through the process were simply not for me. I genuinely could not imagine assembling a group of people simply to talk about my life! Perhaps if we were on the path together that would be far more ideal.
