Mia Goes Fourth by Meg Cabot

3.0

Not much really happens in these, and there’s some language that was definitely ‘normal’ for the 2000’s that I wouldn’t my kids reading without some serious conversations but they’re kinda fun. The movies are 100x better, but they had way more character growth & actual plot. Mia & Michael have gotten together but Mia is still an insecure girl who’s never really dated (that other guy did NOT count to me) so she’s always second guessing & unfortunately she’s surrounded by shitty adults who fill her head with crap so she’s never straight forward at all. Can see this being their downfall if it continues, if him going to college doesn’t happen first. Also god I hate her grandmother.
