Tricked by Kevin Hearne

4.0

A slightly different balance of Hearne's defining characteristics, but all of the usual suspects are there: action, wit, magic, heart, humor, and smarts. Some of the violence is a bit more gruesome, but it isn't necessarily drawn out. It was interesting to see Native American mythology brought in, and, honestly, how can I not adore an author who effortlessly employs the phrase Brobdingnagian hangover?
