Midnight Is the Darkest Hour by Ashley Winstead
4.0
It's a great disservice when reviewers compare books to other books. I got this book through a subscription to @CrimebytheBox and was disappointed when I read the blurbs comparing it to Twilight and Colleen Hoover. I would never intentionally by a book with those comparisons. Fortunately, I was able to attend an event with the author, and I was interested. This book is so much better than the novels it's being compared to. I'm impressed by the writer's intent to show the power of disregarded and ignored groups.
