Second Star to the Right by Bailey Black, Bailey B.

This book may have been a quick read but it sure packs a punch as it's the 2nd book in the Neverland Novel about Wednesday and Peter Pan and Shadow. I just love a dark retelling of Peter Pan and when Shadow aka Pan is brought to life in this story I am all in.
This picks up where Book 1 left off at with Wednesday realizes she's been poisoned and Peter finds her and has no idea what's happened and he knows he has to save her even if it costs him.
In this story Peter and Shadow pretty much are 2 entities that when Peter has to take a back seat to save Wednesday Shadow has to take over.
I loved that you get to see a different darker side of peter and you learn more of where shadow came from and what his part is on neverland. Needless to say I was totally shocked.
As the story progressed I got more and more involved in these character's and the thing's going on in the book, and quiet frankly I didn't want the book to stop. This arthur has such a way of sucking you into her stories and taking you on a ride that you don't want to get off of.
This does end on a cliffhanger, but don't let that stop you from grabbing it and enjoying. Now I just got to wait and find what happens in the next book.
