Perfect on Paper, by Sophie Gonzales

I loved the cover of this book, I had no idea what it was about.

At first, I was sure I knew what I wanted to happen with this book. However, this book surprised me in a good way. Darcy is the secret advice giver of the school, thanks to locker 89. It gets a little more complicated when a boy asks her to help him get his girlfriend back and she’s also trying to figure out how to tell her best friend she’s in love with her.

This story is the perfect amount of teen drama and great dynamics. The entire cast of characters is really strong and created a wonderful story. I was pleased with how the story ended.

I love how many stories for teens are queer, and I hope this trend continues because it’s vital for young adults to see themselves in the stories they read.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the arc shared with no obligation. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
