A Very Klingon Khristmas by Patrick Faricy, Paul Ruditis

5.0

This absolutely FLAWLESS book had me in stitches from page one. Told in the style of "Twas the Night Before Christmas," this quick little book explains all we Humans need to know about the Klingon holiday. Which, by the way, we totally stole, just like their Shakespeare. (taH pagh taHbe'!) Other items of note:

- While good little boys and girls receive shiny knives and daggers, honorless Klingon children might find nasty Tribbles in their stockings.

- The Klingon version of Santa is drawn in his sleigh by eight Birds-of-Prey. He often adds a ninth, which clears the way with its bright red nose disrupter beams.

- Untangling lights is one of the 12 Pains of Christmas for Klingons as well as Humans. Make sure to have a warm cup of mulled Blood Wine to calm everyone down.

- Khristmas is a good day for pie. (Probably prune pie, but pie nonetheless.)
