Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza by Gloria E. Anzaldúa

I had to read this book for my marxism class. It was an amazing experience cause i didn't know what this reading will be holding for me. It was amazing, it has a lot of subjects, that are personally my interest, and it’ll also turned out to be one of my books for my thesis. I really liked that it wasn't another academic text, it was A WOMAN JUST WRITING ABOUT WOMANHOOD WITH HISTORY, PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, LOVE, HATRED ON CULTURE, and the space that stays between mexican and american cultures. I cried, i felt angry, hopeful, sad and happy to read her and see how all of her questionings on her inside, had an answer.... most of them.
