Stories We Never Told by Sonja Yoerg

3.0

This is the first book I've read by Sonja Yoerg. I wouldn't not read another book by her, but I'm also not running right out to grab another one of her books. The writing itself was just fine. Not magnificent, not beautiful prose, but she's a solid storywriter. The issue for me was that I thought it was going to be more of a psychological thriller, but it turned out to just be suspenseful and only in a few parts. It was easy to figure out the mystery and the few twists were not that surprising.

Some reviewers loved this book with the highest ratings possible and some were DNF. For me, it was like a B read and I was hoping for an A. I give it 3.5 stars due to the decent writing and being a quick read.
