REV. FLETCHER. I fell in love with Rev in book 1, and just about lost my mind when I found out he had a book of his own. Declan was a wonderful protagonist in book 1, but Rev fascinated me, and I'm so glad we got a book about him and his life. He's so complex and kind and his trauma is so woven into everything about him, but in a way that makes him so fun and interesting to read. Emma was such a charming narrator, though she irked me at times. I was repeatedly upset with how poorly she treated her best friend, but she redeemed herself in the end. also, if you're meeting up with a guy you've never met in person before, DON'T GET IN HIS CAR!!! I just knew it would be a disaster the moment she got into a car with a stranger. From that point she handled it well but WHAT was she thinking with that one????? Overall, this book brings me to tears every time I read it and I would simply read ten more books of just Rev being Rev. Yet another slay from Brigid Kemmerer.
