2.5 stars.

I'm finished for now, simply because I got the book to read Michael Anderle's Kurtherian Gambit prequel. Unfortunately it's a very short, truncated piece of a story rather than a story. There was no cliff hanger, per se, but it did leave me feeling like I only read the opening chapter.

I'm not sure if that is what the rest of this anthology is, just little teaser tastes, but if so then I can't say that I recommend it. I may come back to it to "taste" some of the other authors' work, and see if it is as the first story in terms of length.

I can't say that I enjoy this sort of marketing. I've never really been one for non-consensual titillation.
