I was so intrigued by the synopsis but it just wasn’t executed in the way I wanted. I’m not really sure what it was, but it just didn’t do it for me. I read Romeo Falling by this author and gave it 5⭐️ so I’m disappointed that this one didn’t work for me. 
 
The story started off well and I enjoyed the beginning and the end, but I just got bored through the middle of the story. Though this is a dark romance, it didn’t feel dark to me at all really. There are some darker things discussed but it never goes into detail, and I feel like if we took out the kidnapping this would have no dark elements at all🤷🏼‍♀️
