From about a fifth of the way into the book, I knew I was going to love it. The story had me hooked from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved learning the stories of all of the siblings and the parents. It was amazing. I will be suprised if I read another book this year that I loved so quickly and furiously as this one. Wow. Absolutely recommend.

also i loved that Kit turned out to be a lesbian. The book being set in the 1980s makes it even more special. I truly enjoyed reading her realization and coming out storyline.Graphic: Death of parent, Sexual harassment, Sexual assault, Addiction, Alcoholism, Alcohol, Police brutality, and Toxic relationship
