Didn’t like this one as much as her previous book, mainly because, once again there were no twist to be surprised by as foreshadowing in Poston's case seems to be more like colorblocking. Also didn’t like the FMC, she keeps waxing on about how well-traveled and experienced she is but never mentions destinations outside the major tourist attractions. She has "eaten her way around the world" but seemingly doesn’t know the first thing about cooking or culinary arts. Also you forgot your ex-boyfriend’s name? What a heartless thing to do. Also the insane amounts of privilege she has and never acknowledges once are just alienating to me.
Overall still a cute story and I loved the idea; I’ll go watch The Lake House now.
