I accidently found this on amazon one day. And after looking at the reviews, “and my book club found it”. I ended up buying all three books. Which I’m glad I did.
St. Clair’s story of Hades and Persphaine is a little different. The whole story is different then the normal ones. In this story, the Gods rule the city. Each having their own part they take over. Of course Hades rules the Underworld. But he also has night clubs, businesses, owns charities, and much more.
We see how these two get together. Along with how much they have to fight to stay together. This story perfectly shows the love they both have. And did I mention it is spicy with a bit of smut?
Of course there's drama, love and loss. Plus the sister-romance between Persephaine and her friend.
Add in the problem of the group of people trying to overthrow the Gods.
This is not a short read but is a good story. My only regret for this book is that I bought the nice paperbacks. They are so pretty I should have gotten hardcovers. I can hardly wait to re-read this series. And get my hands on Hades’ stories, and the new book coming out!
