Heartstopper Volume 2 by Alice Oseman

5.0

Everything about this book was perfect. The story, the plot, tension, anticipation, relationships. Everything.

I’m not usually into graphic novels as I find they don’t get the story across very well and lack a lot in capturing your attention. I was hooked with this from the start.

I loved how this was a male homosexual relationship and how the book never made them feel less about themselves because they are gay. I enjoyed how the book showed that one of their friends had a problem with it, how nick didn’t know if he was straight, bisexual or gay and how he was accepted by his mom.

I look forward to volume 3 to see how their relationship grows and how nick is going to come out to his friends.
