Long live the queen!!! She is back in Rifthold and ready to take on the evil king, save the prince and claim her throne!! This books is SO much! From rescuing Aedion, getting revenge for Sam and admitting all things between she and Rowan. There’s not a dull moment even when it’s from Chaol’s pov… he’s insufferable for 85% of the book but we need him to be. One of the things I really loved about this book is that even though we already knew she was cunning, we see HOW much here and her long term game with the people that have wronged her. Another plus is that we meet two more strong females one becoming a close friend of Aelin, which she desperately needed. This book is fast paced and. Just perfect!
