Wow, not sure where to begin with this one but I'll be succinct and say it's a shame such incredible world building and creative storytelling are hindered by slow moving plotlines and mired in egregious sexual content. By no means am I knocking spicy books, clearly I've read the entire series, but I'm floored that an editor would allow such an oversight to the percentage of fluff to actual content. I compare my reading experience to airplane turbulence, as soon as you picked up some speed with the storyline you're jarred to a stop and have to wait for the main characters to settle back down to (the main) business.

The series has such potential and St. Clair has incredible talent with words to impart her imagination so clearly upon her readers but I don't think we needed three 600 page books to get where we are in the story. Also, please make sure to check content warnings before you begin your reading journey. You will not want to go in unprepared.
