You know when you've just finished reading a book and you say to yourself "I wish someone would've told me not to waste time reading this"? Well...this is that book. And I am that someone.
This story is overly underdeveloped. There is a lot of 'stuff' in this book that just doesn't go anywhere. Also, I found the diction to be awkward and out of context at times.
With that being said, I realize this book was published in the 90's and, therefore, I'm not willing to jump the gun and write the author off completely. This is the first book that I've read by Mrs. Roby, but because I've heard such good things about her, I'm willing to give her books another try. Starting with a more recent title this time…
