Setting: an island of the east coast of the US
Rep: Mexican-American protagonist; multiple queer and POC side characters
This was okay. At 300 pages it's a pretty quick read but I found it to be a bit flat, writing-wise, and there were too many characters for me to care about / be interested in. Plus, the whole premise felt pretty shaky and so did the ending.
