I thought this was a very clever book. I like the idea of seeing a bit of episode IV from a perspective of a minor character.
I don’t know if this is considered canon (but everything these days is supposed to be right) if so there are a couple of contradictions in it which isn’t good. They needed to do a bit more editing and overseeing to keep each person’s story consistent with the others. And the big problem there is the placement in the book, the ones that contradict one another are usually right next to each other.
So a good book, a good idea, some great stories, but really poor editing.
