Lone Wolf Dawn by Aimee Easterling

5.0

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

It keeps getting better and better! In this second book of the Alpha Underground series we get a little more insight into Fen's past and why she has reservations about being committed to her mate, Hunter, and how she is dealing with being packless.
She hasn't heard from her parents in over a decade. They left her with her pack when she was only 9 years old. So when she receives a letter from her mother telling her that her father has died and requesting she attend the funeral she has some reservations. Hunter convinces her to go but once she catches sight of the mother she thinks hates her, she flees. The next morning she wakes up to find that Hunter is gone and has left her a rental car with the coordinates to where her mother lives. It's time to face her past.
Even before she finds her mother things start going wrong. Someone is stalking her, she needs to find a rogue halfie who has already shifted, and she can't get ahold of Hunter. Then she finds out her mother has been receiving death threats.
There are so many twists and turns in this book you'll be left with whiplash! Not everything is as it seems and I was completely shocked to find out the truth, just as Fen was.
Such a great ending to this book. Can't wait for the next one!
