I can't really find anything to fault with this book. I had a great time reading it, it was pacy and fun with enough sexiness to keep you going that didn't border on porn. Both Charlene and James were well thought-out characters and I appreciated that the author didn't shy away from the difficult topics - there's active discussion about the slave trade, atrocities relating to cocoa farming and the treatment of vulnerable women in amongst the glamour. I think because I wasn't fully swept away / had a big emotional reaction is why I won't give it five stars, but quickly going to the topic of the inevitable list. I also loved Lenora Bell's writing style, so I've added about six of her books to my ever-growing TBR pile.
