Fae's Anatomy by Mindy Klasky

4.0

As always, Mindy Klasky delivers. While these paranormal cozies aren't normally my thing, from time to time they're great bits of escapist fantasy. With Fae's Anatomy, we get a fun, runaway bride romp with the "monster" world of Klasky's Magical Washington series colliding with the faerie world in a spark-filled way.

While I don't know if the romance central to the plot is earned, it doesn't matter too much since that's a standard trope of this kind of book. More interesting is Klasky's use of classic con games to enrich the character of Titania and how those play into Klasky's whole concept of the faerie realm. Would love to see more books set in that world, with those characters (or various relatives).
