Say I Do by Skyler Snow, Brea Alepoú

5.0

I had a blast reading Benito and Harlow’s story. This book was visceral and violent and gritty and hot… all those resistant yet possesive vibes!
The authors don’t let go once they’ve hooked you in. There no lag in the fast paced actioned packed story peppered with violence and gore. It’s all about these loud bursting feelings ebbing and crashing and littered with plot points of subterfuge, betrayals and agendas of multiple organised crime families underlined with poetic descriptions of fight sequences. I loved the snarky, ott inner dialogue which added to the over all energy of the book.

Expect:

* Mafia and Yakuza
* Hate s3x
* Enemies to lovers
* Found family
* Forced marriage
* Murder husbands
* Gloriously violent bursts of action
* Sexy lingerie, a barrage of dildos as well as always at hand knifes and guns
* Fast paced layered plot twists
* Spanking, handcuffs, edging
* Possesive MCs
* Touch him and die
* One bed

There are factions at war and alliances being made and our MC are being moved like pawns till they partner make their own boss moves. There are layers of twists to unravel while they can’t keep their white hot attraction at bay and despite starting at battle with each other they find a love they are willing to fight for. I really enjoyed the sparks of sweetness that crept in towards the end. Wow that high octane explosion of an end tied up neatly with a surprise was sublime
