A horror anthology with stories from black authors running the gamut from supernatural historical fiction, future dystopian science fiction, to outright experimental fiction. There were a few in here I didn’t gel with, but this was a very high-quality slate of stories overall. My favorites were The Other One by Violet Allen, Dark Home by Nnedi Okorafor, and the remarkable Origin Story by Tochi Onuyebuchi.
