Quick Fast and A Bit Dark

Super quick read, but one that could’ve used beta readers or an editor. Blood & Agony has a decent storyline. On one hand, I wish it were longer. On the other hand, I may have DNF’d it if it were. Spicy scenes are a bit on the short side and one started only to fade-to-black (which confused me). There was also quite a bit that was told rather than shown. We didn’t really get to know any of the characters, they just existed. Plus the family tree ending was a bit hard to follow. Although, that may have been the point.

Spoiler Alert

The ending also had me…blah. With the setup, I anticipated the arms buyer would be involved. But, instead it was family related revenge. Why have the arms buyer go through that whole scene and set up like he was going to be testing the couple, only for it to not really happen.
