One of my all time favourite books. My other favourite is Neverwhere, also by Gaiman, so I might be a little bit biased.
On a serious note the story telling in this was so immense and captivating that I felt I was being transported every time I opened the book. I found myself thinking about the characters in the middle of my work shift and couldn’t wait to return to them. Gaiman’s world building skills are indescribable, I can see every aspect of a scene and truly connect with everything happening. Amazing story and told in the only way it can be.
