I thought I had picked up a light, happy go lucky rom com and boy was I wrong! An extraordinary novel with highs, lows and everything in between for all of the characters. It is SO messy. I truly didn’t know how the story would end until the very last page. This does center around some heavy topics - loss of parents, psychological/emotional abuse. But it’s truly a beautiful story about fierce loyalty, friendship, and love.
